What inspired the Nest?Society puts pressure on women to be career-driven or family-oriented, but why not both? Marcy Stoudt, our Founder, realized that when she was having babies and trying to figure out how to be a working mom, it wasn’t her job title that needed to change, it was her mindset. What she needed to thrive at motherhood and her career were solutions at her fingertips. One day she needed someone to help decorate the nursery, the next day she needed help optimizing her calendar. She started to ask herself, Why do we expect women to work like we don’t have children, and raise children as if we don’t work? Read more about our story here.

What's the difference between Executive Coaching and Consulting? For coaching, we define goals with the company/client and our coaching sessions are designed to support the individual on their path, however they need. Sometimes it's personal (energy management, self-doubt, crucial conversations, etc.), and other times it's business (mapping out a new process, achieving better sales, building a culture, etc.). To achieve targeted results, we prepare exercises, but the heavy lifting stays with the client's commitment to apply the concepts we teach for personal growth and results, which the client measures. For consulting, we define goals with specific deliverables and outcomes. Often the projects include multiple stakeholders & meetings. Unlike coaching, the heavy lifting is on our shoulders as we are accountable for tangible outcomes. These outcomes could include recommended solutions after researching, strategic planning, new sales hire results, building a training program, etc. Still curious about which is right for you?
